Important 2021 Tax Year Date: You have exactly three years after the due date of 2021 returns, which was April 18, 2022 to file and claim your 2021 tax refund via a 2021 tax return. In other words, you MUST file your 2021 Returns by April 15, 2025. After that date, your refund will expire. Yes, your refund will be gone! Don't become part of this statistic of unclaimed tax refunds.
